francesco-polizzo

He loves comic strips, cinema and animation movie since when he was a child. After taking a degree in business economy, he decided to partecipate to a course of screen-play held by teachers as Laura Scarpa, Antonio Serra, Gianfranco Manfredi and Francesco Artibani.

Fascinated by the opportunities given by the net, he starts to publish web comics using Verticalismi.it where pretty soon he collaborates over 50 artists and creates the saga of Violas (n) T Hill, destined to be the first social series of the site.

He has different publications for national publishers and he has collaborated to the layouts of histories for Diabolik and for L’insonne. He has taken part to the Robotics epic, fantascientific saga of Shockdom.

He has created with his friend and partner Stefano Bosi Fioravanti the character of Ernest Egg that has become an illustrated book and a short in stop motion, with the partecipation of Giobbe Covatta and Pino Insegno, after a triumphal crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo closed to the 138% of the goal.

In 2015 he has been named as good scriptwriter to the Gran Guinigi for the choral history Racconti Indiani of Passenger Press.

In 2017 he has been named to the Boscarato Prize as revelation author for the graphic novel “le due nazioni” (Manfont).

Currently he is working to the second book of Ernest Egg, and on other projects of which it is too soon to speak.

He is proud of his hard disk full of histories that he jealously guards.

He lives without cats but with three women, and inevitably he is always wrong.
